Every month I'll be picking a Destiny's Child fan with a special story. So if you're more than just DC fans, contact me.
Comments, requests, asking to be next month's fan.

There are lots of DC fans who have a picture of their favorite trio on their desk, at a box or as a desktop wallpaper. But this month features a very obsessive fan who got all of her room full of Destiny's Child posters. Meet Kathryn.
Kathryn has been to 2 Destiny's Child concerts on their world tour. Check out her reviews on June 7 (London) and on June 9 (Sheffield)!
Kathryn is a UK girl, who, just like most of the fans, became a Destiny's Child fan after their big breakthrough single "Say My Name". "I loved that song and bought it right away. I liked 'No No No' and 'Bills Bills Bills' as well but 'Say My Name' was the first CD of their's that i bought."
The room insanity had started with the "Survivor" single poster. By then she knew she's a big fan of the ladies of destiny, and her pictures collection expanded into her walls. "I picked it because, at that time, it was the most recent poster of the girls that was in the shop. I used to cut out every picture and poster of DC from magazines and kept it in a box. But one day i decided to stick all the pictures on my wall instead because no-one can see them if they're in a box at the back of my cupboard! Then i bought all the posters that the shops sell (only about 3 of them) and stuck them up too."
And the posters on the walls (ironic isn't it) definately prove Kat's love to Destiny's Child.
"I admire everything about them. They're so talented and beautiful and they have such great personalities as well (I've only ever seen them on TV, but i've heard others talk about them and i'll be meeting them myself in 8 days!!!) Everyone that meets DC says the same thing: 'they are so down to earth' They don't get caught up with their fame and that is a brilliant quality to have. They have all inspired me so much."
Besides her room, the obsessive British girl also sends them letters, tapes every programme that they're on and cuts out every little thing from magazines that is about them. She has also done school pojects about them in her Graphical Design class at school, plus every week she joins her Dad by going for a drive around the city whilst playing her DC CDs "at the loudest possible volume. It's great!"
"Gradually i'm getting more and more magazine articles and i'm running out of space." But that won't stop her from buying the upcoming new poster of Austin Powers: Goldmember, featuring miss Beyonce. "Right now I'm thinking of a place where I can stick this poster to. The possibilities are down to the bathroom door or instead of the big clock in the house". Stan, watch out.
